After an initial deployment with Rendever, the data was clear: virtual reality belongs in healthcare.

When UCHealth met Rendever

The clinics and hospitals within the UCHealth health system offer the most advanced treatments to improve the lives of patients and their families in Colorado and beyond. Rendever started working closely with the Experience and Innovation team back in 2017 to study the impact of VR on patients during a variety of treatments. Due to the nature of the modern healthcare system, there was significant focus on response from family caregivers and from nursing staff - when it comes to chronic illness, it takes a village, and that entire village needed to be eager to adopt VR. The original pilot found over 95% approval ratings for all patients, families, and staff - it was a resounding success and drastically improved the patient experience. The study was published by the Beryl Institute.

Since that promising beginning, our partnership with UCHealth has flourished as they've adopted across hospitals and continued deploying more systems - with over 100 systems deployed across the state today. Throughout their network, UC Health has Rendever systems in a wide variety of treatment centers, including burn units, outpatient infusion clinics, dialysis, and wound care.

Through our partnership with UCHealth, we've also worked with incredible cultural institutions across the state of Colorado to tailor the experience and share the impact widely. Our team has worked with the Colorado Symphony, Red Rocks Amphitheater, a cycling team in the Rocky Mountains, and the Denver Broncos football team to deliver once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
