Rendever was initially introduced to AARP through the MassChallenge HealthTech accelerator program in 2016. Paired as partners, the AARP Innovation Labs team mentored and support our founding team in the early days. Through the years, AARP has welcomed Rendever into their Hatchery Ventures program, which selects age-tech startups that have strong potential to create societal impact in the health, wealth and/or personal fulfillment areas for an ageless consumer and that can grow for sustained consumer impact.
Additionally, AARP licenses and white labels the Rendever technology for their consumer app, Alcove, which is a virtual reality app that connects family members across generations by bringing them together inside a virtual world filled with immersive experiences. Alcove is currently available on the Oculus Go and is currently in the QA process for the Oculus Quest.
We continue to work very closely with the AARP team and regularly attend conferences like CES and HLTH together.
